The Tej Kohli Foundation
The mission of tej kohli foundation is to transform the lives of less privileged children of Costa Rica by fostering innovation, creating knowledge and supporting strong educational foundation.
The Chairman of the Grafix Softech interactive software firm, Tej Kohli using more than $150,000 of his own funds, has established Tej Kohli Foundation to help kids in Costa Rica break out of their poverty-stricken situations.
The farsightedness, clarity of vision and thought and sound technical knowledge of Tej gave The Foundation humble but firm beginning in 2006.
Tej Kohli Foundation supports each child by giving him or her strong educational foundation, a good time, self esteem and values, and to help them plan how they can earn a steady livelihood as a step towards improving their standard of living
Aims and Objectives
The following are the Aims and Objectives of Tej Kohli Foundation
- To promote Child Focused Community Development Projects and multipurpose programmes for self-sustenance.
- To provide funds to support literacy and education initiatives for the under-privileged children.
- To awaken, organize and enable children, their families and communities towards self-development and self-reliance. and
- To promote awareness about the rights and needs of the children and youths, particularly adolescent girls.
